First Visit

Here begins your adventure

First of all, the Maras Moray tour starts with the pick up from your hotel, and then we go to our first point of visit of the tour, Moray.

During the journey we will observe the beautiful landscapes that the city of Cusco has to offer.

Second Visit

Then, we will observe two really beautiful lagoons: the Piuray Lagoon and the Huaypo Lagoon.

Third Visit

Next, we will start with the explanation of the Archaeological Center of Moray, a place that has 3 systems of cultivation terraces as an amphitheater made by the Incas.

Certainly, these platforms, which are carved deep into the ground in the form of a bowl, are believed to have been used to determine the optimal conditions for the cultivation of different products.

Fourth visit

After that, we will descend a little to the salt mines of Maras located about 2 kilometers away, an important production center that dates back to pre-Inca times.

Therefore, here we will find more than 3000 salt wells minted along the mountainside, which are filled daily by the water that seeps into the earth.

Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco.
